Decided to fully pivot on the locking game. Original idea was to mirror the classic game Hillsfar, but countless challenges and overall misalignment with ultimate objective have made the idea less attractive. I have begun work on 2 games (not 100% sure which idea will win) 1) uses a pvp style mirroring the original Hex board game 2) Is heavily inspired by HexRoll by Pen, Dice & Paper. |
I hope to have the public github for hex board game launched within a week. |

New Year, New Pivot… Kist moves to Godot. After some challenges with Phaser and Bevy, we’ve decided to move to Godot as our engine. SDK between Godot and Dojo incoming. |
Github delayed while migrating and refactoring to Godot. Kist.dev re-launching this week. |

Recent issues with website backend have caused a move over to Astro framework. Changes taking longer while site is rebuilt. Kist is looking to bring on a new artist to help speed up some art and asset changes. Must have experience with Figma and AI adjustments/refinements. Look for more info when kist.dev launches. |

Back at work on Kist. Without much movement on finding the right artist for the project. We’ve decided to turn inward and focus on getting it done ourselves. |

Big advances with defining the “Kist” style and finalizing some of the initial concept art. On track to have an art reveal and story overview this month. |
Still 100% using Godot, would love for a better integration with Dojo. |
