Tracing the evolution of games over the past few decades, we see that those with strong playability and longevity tend to share common design patterns. Auto chess represents one such enduring pattern. Since bursting onto the scene with Dota Auto Chess in 2019, this relatively new game mode has garnered avid fans worldwide.
Moreover, as a lightweight, casual, strategic experience, auto chess aligns perfectly with blockchain's current capabilities.
Accordingly, when conceiving our inaugural on-chain game, we opted for auto chess as the model, dubbing our iteration Autochessia.

The POC of the Loot Auto Chess. The POC will include a basic battle round, player can buy and place piece, and pieces can auto route and attack enemy when round starts. For convenience, the game tick will be based on block time. We can play it smoothly at localhost. | All Contributors | 31/12/2023
Implement a closed-loop game process, from room creation to game start, including the in-game shop refresh system, experience system, in-game life system, and win/loss settlement, among others. | All Contributors | 1/2/2023
Implementation of the effect system and synergy, as well as planning the specific numerical values for heroes. Complete the interface design and beautification. And it’s ready for alpha testing at that time. | All Contributors | 10/3/2023
Optimize the game, especially improvements in client-side performance. For example, separating the execution of 'ticks' on the blockchain and client-side rendering of attacks, utilizing state channels to deterministically execute battle processes off-chain, and even using zkp to directly verify the battle result (if the tools are mature enough by then). | All Contributors | TBD |
