Abstract

Rising Revenant is an immersive last man standing strategy game built on Starknet and powered by Dojo. The game unfolds in two distinct stages. In the preparation phase, players meticulously plan their strategies, allocate resources, and invest in critical upgrades. Once preparations are complete, the game transitions into the action-packed game phase, where players unleash their reinforcements, trade and engage in intense events. Success in Rising Revenant hinges on strategic planning and tactical prowess, with performance in both phases determining the rewards. The ultimate objective: to be the last Revenant standing

Blob Arena

Abstract

Blob Arena is an innovative strategy mini-game where players engage in Pókemon-like battles using unique characters called Bloberts. Aiming to deliver a high-quality gaming experience, Blob Arena stands out for its gameplay dynamics and strategic focus. Players will navigate through exciting encounters, against other players or against AI, using their Bloberts’ distinctive traits to outsmart and defeat opponents. The game’s core mechanic revolves around an enhanced rock-paper-scissors style combat modified by each character’s attributes such as Attack, Defence, Speed, and Strength, which are crucial for mastering the game.

Team

Grug: Founder of the Grug's Lair, OG member of Bibliotheca DAO and leader of the dark army. I'm green, I carry a big club with me and I'm angry most of the times. My background in Game dev, game mechanics and UX/UI makes it the perfect mix for tackling the task of making a game using Dojo built in the RAW. I'll be taking on the task with other 3 talented developers.

Alexhalo: Deeply passionate about crafting video games with cutting-edge technologies. My special interest lies in creating games that incorporate seamless procedural generation, backed by proficiency in C++, C#, and the Unity game enginer

Ben-Jay-Min: Software Engineer. Formerly an engineer in sustainable agritech, focusing on MLOps and robotics, Ben-Jay-Min now applies his skills in systems design and full-stack development to onchain gaming. His role at Grug's Lair involves overseeing the development of smart contracts and ensuring robust backend solutions for our games.

JaimeS: Industrial Engineer. Formerly an engineer in business performance and project manager, JaimeS is tasked with driving Grug’s Lair’s market expansion through strategic marketing initiatives. Since 2020, JaimeS has utilized an extensive network to attract new clients, explore new markets, and guide the growth of various cryptocurrency projects, demonstrating a keen ability to adapt and innovate within the dynamic crypto environment.

Syn: Product Manager. Syn leads the Tech Team at Grug's Lair with over seven years of experience in Product Management. Having launched multiple products in Indonesia’s burgeoning FinTech sector, Syn now focuses on integrating his deep understanding of financial technologies with his passion for Web3 gaming. Since 2020, he has been actively involved as a player, investor, and enthusiast in the gaming community.
